Nintendo Switch App
The Nintendo Switch App (branded as the Nintendo Switch Online app before May 28, 2025) is a mobile companion app for the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and their online service. It was released on July 21, 2017.
Mii usage
The Nintendo Switch app requires a Nintendo Account to operate, so the account holder's selected Mii character will appear in the settings menu as an icon. It is rendered server-side through Nintendo's website.
